Trenologi baru saja mendapatkan informasi tentang 10 pencarian paling populer di mesin pencari Google pada tanggal 24-30 Agustus 2012 untuk Indonesia. Gangnam Style, Neil Armstrong, dan OST Perahu Kertas adalah beberapa kata kunci paling populer selama satu minggu kemarin.
Hasil pencarian lainnya adalam KRS IPB yang bisa jadi berhubungan dengan awal masa kuliah, lalu tentang Iron Man 2 yang diputar di televisi lokal dan menarik pengguna mesin pencari Google untuk mencari informasi tentangnya di Google.
Gangnam Sytle masuk menjadi 10 pencarian populer, video musik dari artis pop Korea PSY ini saking populernya mendapatkan perhatian dari Britney Spears dan Vanessa Hudgens. Video klip mereka di YouTube telah dilihat sebanyak 77 juta selama satu bulan. Sedangkan OST Perahu Kertas juga masuk karena bersamaan dengan pemutaran film ini di Bioskop.
